The Pressure of Society Story: An Emotional English-Hindi Translation Story
It was a Sunday evening.
Rohan was sitting on the terrace, watching the sunset with tired eyes.
He had been preparing for the UPSC examination for four years.
His books were filled with notes, but his heart was filled with questions.
Every family function felt like another interview.
“When will you become an officer?”
“How many attempts have you already given?”
“Sharma Ji’s son is already earning one lakh every month.”
Every sentence pierced his heart like an arrow.
One night, while scrolling through social media, he saw his classmates buying cars, traveling abroad, getting married, and celebrating promotions.

He quietly locked his phone.
He looked into the mirror and whispered,
“Am I wasting my life?”
For the first time, he thought about giving up.
The next morning, he went to the public library.
An old librarian noticed the sadness on his face.
The old man smiled and asked,
“Why do you look defeated before the battle is over?”
Rohan remained silent.
The librarian took out two seeds from his pocket.
He planted one seed in a small pot and another under a large tree.

After a few weeks, the seed in the pot became a healthy plant.
The other seed had not even appeared.
Rohan looked confused.
The librarian smiled.
“The second seed is growing its roots first.”
“When it finally grows, it will become much stronger.”
Then he looked into Rohan’s eyes.
“Life is not a race.”
“Some people bloom at twenty-two.”
ENGLISH HINDI TRANSLATION STROY

“Some bloom at thirty-five.”
“But every flower has its own season.”
“Never compare your invisible roots with someone else’s visible flowers.”
Those words changed something inside him.
From that day, he stopped counting other people’s achievements.
Instead, he started counting his own efforts.
One chapter.
One mock test.
One better day.
Months passed.
His confidence returned.
He walked into the examination hall with peace instead of pressure.
A year later, the final result was announced.
His name appeared on the list.
His parents cried with joy.
The same relatives who once questioned him now congratulated him.
Rohan smiled quietly.
Because he had learned the biggest lesson of his journey.
Success does not come to those who run faster than everyone else.
It comes to those who keep walking, even when nobody believes in them.
**Moral of the Story**
Society will always compare your life with others, but your journey is unique.
Never let the fear of being left behind stop you from moving forward.
Real success belongs to those who remain patient, consistent, and hopeful even when nobody applauds their efforts.
